Providing Family Planning Care for Non-Pregnant Women and Men of Reproductive Age in the Context of Zika

The Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) Office of Population Affairs (OPA) developed a Zika Toolkit for Title X-funded grantees and other health care providers that care for non-pregnant women and men of reproductive age. The toolkit suggests ways to put the CDC guidance into practice. It contains information about how to counsel women and men about family planning in the context of Zika, including job aids, client handouts, and outreach materials.

It will be updated on an ongoing basis, as new research findings and clinical recommendations are published. We encourage providers to check the U.S. Office of Population Affairs website to ensure they are using the latest version.
